Hi Everyone,

Good day to all. I am a February applicant too. Submitted my application to CEM through AIR21 last Feb. 23... Like many others, I also used this forum as a reference for my application especially on what documents to support my claims and how to present it. Thanks to everyone who contributed their experiences that I was able to find things that I couldn't have thought important to support my application.

@donggaton
:) Padagdag nalang po yung ibang info na kulang and let us update each other. ;D

Goodluck and Godbless our application.

Ako po ganyan din dilemma ko nung before I filed my application package.
Opinion expiry date: 2013-04-17*
*Please take note that the Foreign Worker must apply to CIC for a work permit prior to this date.

For sure they are processing your papers now. :) Just be cool and be positive. 8) I know nakakakaba.
Ako naka-stress sa akin, Air21. I really bombarded them with complaint forms sa website, email, at facebook page nila. Pano naman Feb. 22 schedule ng pick-up ng documents ko, namuti mata ko maghapon kaka-antay pero wala nag-pick up at wala man lang txt notification. It was picked up Feb. 23. Feb. 24, I tried tracking my package, ERROR sa website ng Air21 till yesterday. Syempre kinabahan ako kasi andun orig passport ko, and all other orig documents. hayyy... then I saw that nababasa na nila complaints ko pero wala man lang nag-reply. I tried tracking through another route.

Waiting and eagerly anticipating for a positive result can cause anxieties. Hehehe. Let's just all be positive and rely to God everything. Goodluck and Godbless our application. :)

Ganun ba? So di kasama orig passport mo sa application package? May agency ka ba or direct ka? I'm not sure if there is another form for Live-in caregiver (NOC 6474). Nung tumawag ako sa PIASI for scheduling of document pick-up I was advised nung call center agent na include ko orig passport ko at 2 photocopies nung biopage. Pati din sa document checklist na ginamit ko nakalagay dun, and I quote:

Original passport(s) for yourself and each family member requesting a visa, along with a copy of the passport bio-data page (i.e. the page that has your name, photo, place of birth, date of issue, etc.)
 Each passport should have a minimum of two blank visa pages and minimum 6 months validity from your intended date of entry.
 Note that a work permit and the accompanying visa cannot be issued beyond the validity of your passport. Therefore if your passport is expiring before the end of your work period, we recommend that you obtain a new passport before applying.
 Attach old passports showing previous travel.
 If the laminate on the biopage is disturbed around the photo, a new passport is required. In order to save valuable time, please obtain a new passport prior to submitting your application.
 Children must have their own passport.

Kaya yun, kasama orig passport ko. Anybody here among the applicants who included their passports also sa application package?

Amen to that. :) If it's God's will for you, then nothing is impossible.

Pero in fairness, nakakakaba ano?

Yup...talagang nakakakaba. Its like a game is on the line and the ball is not in your hand. Prayers is the best weapon at this point in time.

Thanks. By the way, saan po ba sa Canada ang employer nyo?

A photocopy of the bio data page of your current passport i.e, the page that has your name, photo, place of birth, date of issue, etc. and old passports showing your previous travel.
DO NOT send your original passport until it is specifically requested.

Your current passport should have a minimun of two blank visa pages and minimum 6 months validity from your intended date of entry.

This is the checklist that they use: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/assets/pdfs/visas/54_3_Eng.pdf

For the rest of TFWs, eto naman:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/assets/pdfs/visas/54_1_Eng.pdf

Live-in caregivers are not required to submit their orig passports. :)

@donna08
