Hi Asivad,

The first question may be more relevant to PR because it is not clearly mentioned for WP or Study Permit.
Do you think we need to select Yes for the first question even though we have applied for work permit or study permit before?
First answer is Yes, and you will need to provide UCI number which you can get it from WP or study permit.

Hi,

My friend was arrested by police for buying the bike from the shop that was stolen and he was not aware of it. He was discharged after 4 hours investigation and no charges or record from police, should he answer YES or NO for the following questions:

1. Has X ever committed, been arrested for, been charged with or convicted of any criminal offence in any country?

2. Has X been detained, incarcerated, or put in jail?

Please advise. Thanks
arrested yes. In description provide details of as you mentioned here.

2. NO.

Quick question,

I have a middle name on my passport but EE is only asking for First name and Last Name.
How do I include my middle name?

Thank you.

I feel it should be NO, as there are no charges or any record of arrest. Arrest will materialize only when recorded.

that's true and there is no criminal record as well, but better to stat the truth before instead of being sorry in future. and the truth is he was arrested and questioned, but because he was innocent and nothing was materialized mentioning the incident not gonna hurt the application

Thanks for your response. He was put in police station for investigating, so I think he should put YES for being detained or not, is it right?

YES and provide explanation of what happen. Just to be safe I would get upfront Canadian PCC and submit that along with application(even if it's not mandatory) so it doesn't leave any scope of confusion there.

Now i got the ITA prior the completion of 2nd year of experience. Please let me know if you guys have experience what i suppose to do

1) do i have accept the ITA after the completion of two years or

2) I cannot accept the ITA if my experience is lacking two weeks in my 2nd year.

thanks in advance.

Go ask a laywer, there is a difference in being detained, questioned under caution and being arrested. I think if handcuffs are put on then its arrest and only a magisterial order can undo a handcuff. Ask a criminal laywer about his.

So I DONT include my boyfriend again here as he is already in the app? I'm on the family section. Do you repeat the spouse details?
