Should be fine but you would need to come back for the ceremony, even if it's a virtual one. You cannot take the oath while on foreign soil.I have moved to the US after applying. Can this cause a delay?

me too lolAnyone else still stuck in LPP purgatory or is it just me?
Stuck in LPP since BG was completed on March 29. Submitted the ATIP request the day after the FP request on March 7 and received the file on April 14. Unfortunately, the information was outdated, with notes only up to March 3, so it wasn’t helpful. Only useful info on ATIP file was that I found out, as a Toronto applicant, my primary office is Vancouver, and the local office for the oath will be Scarborough. The application was originally received by Sydney. Despite having no deragetory history, BG details were long and all were heavily redacted, so that section wasn’t useful either.Anyone else still stuck in LPP purgatory or is it just me?
Yes, mine was from January 4th.I know a lot of people from January waiting on LPP but is anyone here from early Jan? I applied Jan 1st, AOR 17th, test and background completed on tracker March 3rd. No update since then. It is nearing 2 month mark since the test is completed.
mine AOR is Jan 9th so same boat here, my test is marked complete on March 6, when I called they told me LPP are not started yet.Yes, mine was from January 4th.
As I said before, many IRCC officers have been assigned to process the many many recent Francophone ITAs, IRCC issued generously without proper planning. I was told this fact when I was on the phone with an IRCC officer in Etobicoke IRCC discussing one of my clients. Express Entry draw #341 took place on March 21 and a whopping 7,500 candidates with French language proficiency received invitations to apply (ITAs). Previously, Mar 7 draw (#339) issued 4,500 ITAs. 12,000 applications needs a huge number of officers assigned to them. These officers are constantly being pulled from their previous duties processing low-priority applications and yes citizenship grants are not a priority. The delay is not just for our citizenship applications but also for work permits and student visas. The focus now is on certain PR applications only. For now we are not citizens yet, so we are only numbers (bunch of UCIs) to IRCC, and it seems our lives or plans do not matter. IRCC is a black box and I hope next govt changes this! We need accountability and transparency. The lack of transparency is quite baffling. This is under the Liberal administration. They can’t handle the current load and keep pushing for more immigration. So I guess if I get my citizenship my vote is for conservatives. (I’m being facetious but still… )
From looking at last year's trackers: median is about 60 days, 'normal' range might be 30-120 days. About a fifth report longer. This is with a fair number (also ~20%) not reporting completed yet at all - not clear how many of those might be because their files really haven't moved, how many just haven't updated the tracker spreadsheet.test completed updated on April 7th , but no update on LPP and Oath after that.
How long it will take to get an update on LPP after Test and background completion
