Yup. AOR Feb 14, BG done Mar 4, test done Mar 18. I'm at day 147 since submission.

I did feel better after seeing this timeline of a December applicant getting LPP done just this week on Reddit:
• Dec 23, 2024 - Application filed.
• Jan 7, 2025 - AOR
• Feb 6, 2025 - Citizenship test status has been updated to in progress.
• Feb 12, 2025 - Background verification completed.
• Feb 12, 2025 - Email received for citizenship test invite (virtual).
• Feb 21, 2025 - Request for citizenship test (Feb 21- Mar 22).
• Feb 21, 2025 - Citizenship test completed (20/20).
• Feb 24, 2025 - Citizenship test status updated to completed.
• Mar 7, 2025 - Physical presence completed.
• Jun 4, 2025 - Email received interview required on Jun 18(verification of identity/documents in person).
• Jun 18, 2025 - Interview completed.
• Jun 18, 2025 - Language skills completed.
• Jun 24, 2025 - Prohibitions completed.

I did some calculations on their timeline:
  • Submission -> physical presence completed: 75 days
  • Submission -> Language skills completed: 178 days
  • Submission -> Prohibitions: 184 days
Do we need interview

16 days and counting since LPP — still no update on oath. Most people get theirs in 3–4 days. My AOR is 15th Jan, so my total timeline will easily go past 6 months now, on the other hand people from March and April are getting their oaths

I have seen people waiting 2-3 months after LPP to get ceremony invite so you are still within the normal range!

According to what I saw, those people who are waited 2-3 months got LPP very early on and then waited for oath to kind of balance it out. I am already nearing 6 months mark, I know that their processing time is 10 months but I don't see a reason to not schedule oath ceremony after everything else turns green.

I don't think that's how IRCC works in general—they don't “balance it out” like that. There are some March and April applicants who got ceremony invites already while applicants from Nov, Dec, Jan & Feb 2025 are still waiting for LPP. It's just arbitrary.

One reason I can think of for not immediately scheduling the oath ceremony after everything turns green is capacity. You might be getting an in-person ceremony and there are only so many spots in your location. Heck, who knows if an IRCC agent can be like, “well this application still has 4 months to reach the 10 month mark; let me put this away for now and work on other files now”?

You are right, processing time likely depends on different processing center capacity and other factors which we may not know of.

Starting to panic a bit now. Our in person ceremony invitation was for July 8, and that's still showing up on the tracker.

We requested a virtual ceremony, and they confirmed that they were rescheduling, but we've heard nothing since then.

Surely it would be easier to schedule virtual ceremonies than in person?

No reason to panic.

I’m in the same situation as you, LPP was done on 29 April but still waiting for oath. Don’t know if that’s normal or there’s something wrong with my application.
