Congrats where do u apply from and the nationality on the passport? Do your eligibility change from your application is in progress, to We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements?

I applied from Dominican Republic, eligibility, biometric and all remained in proccesss until the day of approval.

We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility And u get approved that's nice OR Did your application change to We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements? And get approved.

I am planning to apply for tourist visa. Purpose of visit is - to meet friends and travel.
I will be there for 3 weeks.
What are my chances of approval as I already have express entry file in pool and intra company transfer closed work permit sponsored by employer (could not go as currently project is not there)
Also should i apply with or without my parents

As long as you can explain loud and clear your intent of visit and return; and all this wrt to your ongoing applications signifying your (dual) intent to live in canda as well - it shouldnt be a problem.

Today marks 37 days time v/s 25 days processing time. Our application has now already exceeded the posted processing times.
Any recommendations on what to do next? seniors @canuck78 @scylla @Naturgrl @steaky ? Not trying to sound frustrated, but until now there has been no update, no additional document request, absolutely nothing. I can understand if there was some kind of request, but it is dead silence with no update to this point. Just biometric and eligibility complete since 14-Feb with background in-progress.
Appears they are reducing the processing time for visitor visa. And here I am still waiting to hear back. Also looks like they have already moved onto process mid-Feb applicants now. Feeling left out (hopefully that's not the case).

Absolute silence from IRCC. My wife’s application is officially past processing days (43). No update for the last 25 days. Really annoying. Cant understand how they operate

No. Last update eligibility completed and biometric completed. My local MP office is trying to get an update for me. Lets see
