I am also waiting for test invite and bg completed.. thats impressive they are sending AOR to March applicants in 2 or 4 days and the previous montha applicants are being forgotten

I am currently in the US and got invited to take the citizenship test. I contacted IRCC and asked them if I could give the test from US. They replied that I could but I will have to give proof of returning to Canada within 30 days and might be scheduled for interview. I decided to back and give the test from Canada. I gave the test from Canada and came to US again. My tracker was updated to citizen test completed and I got this email from IRCC. I understand asking for passport pages but is it normal to ask if I’m abroad or have returned? Any idea why they’re asking? It’s making me nervous. any insight please.

“In order for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to continue the process of your citizenship application, scanned copies or photos of all passport(s) and travel document(s) pages held during your eligibility period are required. If you do not have a travel document or passport, please provide an explanation.

1. For all individuals who are ABROAD, please indicate the date you left Canada and the date you plan to return.
2. For all individuals who have RETURNED, please indicate the date you left Canada and submit proof of return such an itinerary or booking to boarding pass.”

FYI: Not sure if it is needed here. After reviewing the email from ICC, I noticed that the email that the citizenship test was send from, came from Scarborough office.

Please update the spreadsheet accordingly.

Do you get an email after completing the test ?

No, you do not get any email automatically. At the end of the test where it shows you your result you can email that to yourself. Usually, after a couple of days after the test, the tracker gets updated with the test completed.
