Finally, a Canadian!

Our oath was virtual, and I had the oath forms signed and ready to be sent in an email draft the moment the oath was completed. To our pleasant surprise, the citizenship certificates were available within an hour.

Many applicants who completed their journey before me in this group helped me stay motivated, and I want to thank everyone for the support.

Wow! Within the hour! That's fantastic. I need to apply for my passport ASAP so that's very promising!

I'll be prepping all my paperwork this weekend.

I did the same mistake of entering 2022 tax as filled when I submitted on 4th Jan 2023. I also received the AOR recently. However since last 4 year taxes were filled, I think I will satisfy the tax filing obligations required for the citizenship. So I am not doing anything as of now unless asked by IRCC. At the same time, I am planning to ensure that I file 2022 as soon as my T4s appear in CRA.

How was your application going on then? I made same mistake yesterday for 2023 tax. Already summited the webform

Call and check with IRCC that they have your signed oath form. Additionally you can attach the form to webform too.

Then its a delay from the oath officer side who has to process it to generate your ecertificate. Some unnecessarily take a lot of time.

Please can you send me the number you called. I am in the same boat , not gotten my e-cert . I keep calling the IRCC number and it says their agents are busy and cuts me off.

I was facing the same issue but try to call them 8:00am in the morning 18882422100
