Hi Everyone,

Please I have an issue, my spouse name was wrongly spelt in the application not sure where it got wrong. Instead of Timilehin the application shows Temilehin. I have raised a webform and attached his passport ID.

The issue now is that we got a medical request today with the misspelled name, the name change is yet to be updated. Please what can we do, can we still go with the medical request?

Yes, go, you will need passport anyway, tell the clinic of the error. I believe they can change it and at any rate, the UCI# is there to identify and tie to the correct file.

thank you :)

Also can someone clarify, I read somewhere that if you haven’t been married for 2 years it makes the process more difficult to convince the IRCC that it’s genuine? I been dating (long distance) since 2018 does that count? Been many time to his country pre pandemic
Nopes not true!!!

when registering on pr tracker with my(principal applicant )
) UCI number. , it is showing " some un expected error occurred " . But my husband (sponser) is ableto regester on the tracker with his UCI number . Anybody else faced this issue or anybody know why it is happening so...

Hello my husband applied for family class sponsorship for my son and I, we are at the stage of Medical Results received and some weeks ago I saw it changed to "you have passed your medical exam ". How long does it to received the PPR?

Everyone applying for PR needs to get medical. So I don't think it's bad news that your applicantion is processed fast.

As you have seen, there isn't really a pattern of EXACTLY which notification you get before another (SA vs medical). But as far as I know they seldom request medical before SA but they could send out notification at a different time. And aslo no one can tell how much time exactly each step will take. It depends.

Please I submitted my application in January and now I receive medical request but they are requesting medical for my children who have been Canada PR for 5 years. They have been living in Canada and would soon receive their citizenship. I think it's a mistake to request medical for them. Please advice, should I write the VO and explain this. I think it's unnecessary and could be a mistake from the VO.

Did you include your PR children in your IMM 0008 form as dependents?

The form has instruction as:
"You must provide the following deails about each of your family memebers, whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not. You must include your souse or common-law partner, if applicable, and all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are NOT already permanent residents or citizens of Canada.
