No, Canadian PR card/Passport is sufficient for proof of status for sponsor. See the checklist for full info.

Not yet but I have received another email now saying that I have passed Sponsorship eligibility. I'm Sponsoring my husband who is outside Canada.

i tried this link (https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login), when i visited the link , it says, "If your application for permanent residence is approved, you will be invited by IRCC to use this portal to confirm your status as a permanent resident "
The online link should have been available here:

But I'm not sure why it's not there.
