I contacted my MP and it's pointless. They do nothing apart from telling you to wait for 22 months of processing time. Someone I know applied in the month of April 2023 and is already scheduled for Oath in June. Like WTH!!!

Seriously, right now it seems like last in first out. People applying later are getting their oaths first. I am a March 2022 applicant and it seems that on average March 2022 applicants are in better shape than January 2022 applicants. So frustrating.

Yes I agree. I am Jan 2022 applicant stuck at LPP not started. Those that applied in January 2023 are even in a better position as most of them have LPP completed. Very depressing to say the least

Any one from Scarborough Office still waiting for LPP?
I completed my test, finger print and background check back in Oct'2022.
Same here. Even I contacted my M.P this is what I received from her office.
This application was received on the 25th of January 2022, leaving it within the estimated average processing time of 22 months
Criminality and Security have been passed
The Knowledge Test has been passed
There are no outstanding documents needed from the applicant at this time.

What the heck? Why has your LPP not started yet? Would you say your application would fall under "non-routine" for any possible reason?

just wondering if you submitted all the pages of your passport or if you just included the biodata page?

How does it matter if it is "non routine"? Apart from travelling twice out of country since 2018 my file has nothing complicated and its still non routine. Regardless, 22 months to process an application of any type is ridiculous!

I'm February applicant and lpp still not started...

This whole thing doesn't make sense...

Online Tracker shows LPP "in Progress" but in reality it's "not started". That is what i read in the GCMS notes i got in April. I have requested for another GCMS notes last night hopefully will see if anything has changed.

I bet it, if you order your GCMS notes as well, it's likely not started for you as well, as I have noticed it's same for alot of us stuck in LPP "in progress" as shown
on the Tracker.

Same situation. Dec 2021 applicant here stucked at LPP. Now it’s time to apply for GCMS notes I think. I made requests through MP twice in the past two months. But nothing really new came into light. Any idea what’s the difference between GCMS and AITP and how to apply?

This is true. It shows "In Progress" for me but my AITP notes shows "Not started".

They are the same. You get GCMS notes through an ATIP request. Just google ATIP request and apply for Officer's notes (at no cost) from your citizenship application with IRCC.
