Is biometrics one of the requirements in citizenship.? i read that those who have never given , because prior to 2019 this was not needed, then now we get an Biometric instruction letter.. Anyone knows if this is mandatory now for us if not given previously?

I was asked to submit my biometrics twice

I have been waiting for my oath invitation for the past 4 months. Did my citizenship test on November 18th . I received fingerprinting request on March 23rd . This was the second time they asked for fingerprint . The other request was March 2021.
Has anyone else been in a similar boat waiting longe than 4 months after the test

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding my citizenship application:
My passport has only a given name no surname, when I applied for PR at that time I applied with my name in the "Family name" field and "given name" as blank.
Now I am thinking of using my husband's family name, shall I apply for citizenship with this changed info and marriage certificate attached or shall I apply just as is and after citizenship change my name.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

i think that let everything is straightforward, you should not change anything until you become a Canadian. change name, your application may be non-routine. But this is your choice

so recommended is to change name after citizenship is granted.. do you have any idea if family name process will be easier after ?
