AOR is a number of months. Overall processing time to approval is around 3 years.

I haven't heard of these situations. However that seems completely impossible since there's no way IRCC can complete all parts of the processing of the application (i.e. interview, medical, security and background checks, etc.) in just 25 days. But maybe I'm wrong. I would just be extremely extremely surprised.

I think we have a number of people on this forum who submitted their application in 2020 and are still waiting to hear something.

I think we have a number of people on this forum who submitted their application in 2020 and are still waiting to hear something.

They are still waiting for all this stuff (interview, medical, security and background checks, etc.)
but, I'm sure they have got the G-number following with the approval within 25 days in the last year of 2021

I think there is some misunderstanding here,
I mean the approval letter that someone gets the first time
in 2020 there are people who have got the approval within two months
for example ..

AOR following with Approval: March 10, 2020
Interview: Awaiting

You are right.. first AOR takes 6-8weeks normally, but there're some exceptions.. what's your visa office/embassy location?
