January 2021(Winter) Intake

Hey everyone! I applied for Sept 2020 intake in Bow Valley College but deferred to January 2021. The study permit submission deadline of my college is 4th January but with VACs still closed in India there's a chance that I may not get it by then.
IRCC says that we may commence our studies online without having a study permit and it would count towards our PGWP but my college doesn't allows to do the same and the only option they give is to defer to the next start date,i.e, Sept 2021 if I don't submit my Study Permit by 4th January.
I don't think that deferring again and that too to Sept 2021 would be a nice option. So, if anyone has some suggestions, please do tell.
Also, if anyone is having the same issue, please contact.

I'm kinda in similar situation and I know it sucks. I think pretty much listed down your odds. You either defer to the next possible semester or just wait for IRCC or VFS Global to provide any further updates. But I personally think that it is highly unlikely that they'd be able to process our applications on time, even though you provided your biometrics in a different country.

My biometrics are yet to be done. I lodged my file in June end and VACs have been closed since then. However, I received my AIP but it's of no use for January 2021 intake.
