Same situation. file moved to NYVO somewhere 4th week of March. No response since then. Not even seen any PR applications processed from that visa office till date. When called IRCC, they had informed that file moved to NYVO due to overload of applications in NDVO.

wow this is very annoying to wait this long for spouses in a pandemic situation like this. I hope and Pray everyone gets their applications processed fast and get together with their spouse.

I have a question: if you are outland living in Canada, where does your file go? I have a File number with F but no AOR for almost 3 weeks. My last update was they were reviewing my sponsor's recent residence in Canada, He is Canadianian citizen but this is taking ages and we are also in Montreal. I went from Received to In Process in ECAS and got some updates from my MP

I called IRCC they said the ghost update was security is complete. The only things pending is Eligibility. Not sure how long it will take from now

Really it can go anywhere, stay in Canada, the PAs home country or any other VO office globally. They are sending apps all over where there is manpower to do the processing. How did you get the file number, if there's a file # starting with F that means they have started processing the app.

Hi, My wife did the biometrics step on April 6th and the IRCC website is updated with the biometrics number, however, on the website I see the status of biometrics as follow:

"We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics message below for more details." (the message is the biometrics requests letter).

Do I have to worry about this? or the status is just not updated?

Hi all. My Spouse's application was transferred to NYVO since feb 20 this year. The medical is passed but since then there are no updates at all. Online status shows "Submitted". Is anyone else in the same situation? I tried calling the CIC office (even in NY) but they dont provide any answer.

Mine is also at the NYVO with a similar time frame. I am waiting on my biometrics request. SOOOOO frustrating not to move forward in this process. I just learned that it was New York last week.

Thanks! We didn't get VO in our SA letter but the PPR letter has the LVO email address, so assuming London.
