Hi January friends. I too got my AOR1. They state they got my app January 13th and I got AOR1 on February 18th. Yay!! One step down and about 15 to go. I am pleasantly surprised that it came this quickly. I expected it to come at least next month. But, I think they are only scanning them in for remote workers at this point, so it still may take some time for the sponsor to be approved. Then there are the delays that are going on a the visa offices. UGG!! We shall get through this. That light at the end of the tunnel is slightly closer.

I wish I discovered this forum earlier but I'm still glad to have found this. Our application was received on January 12 and we just got the AOR1 today I hope all of our applications run smoothly and timely!

I can’t figure out how to post a picture.
But it says I am approved as a sponsor, that I can now apply for the Québec undertaking and that the PR application will be forwarded to the Accra visa office.

I sent mine in September and I'm still waiting too. Seems that those of you who submitted in January are being processed faster than we are!

Thanks. I'm unable to call because I'm outside Canada. I did send a webform, which took them over a month to respond "your application was received September 30 and will be processed in the order it was received," which is manifestly untrue.

I received my AOR1 today. My application was received on Feb 3rd, 2021

I have a question. I’m planning to visit my spouse in mid May 2021 and planning to stay with her in India for a month. Is this going to impact the sponsorship application? I don’t see any official restriction that says being a sponsor I shouldn't leave Canada for a short vacation. Please advise if anyone travelled outside of Canada during the application process and had any issues.

I'm from the US. Application was received Sept 30. Have not received AOR or even a temporary file number despite multiple webform requests.
