I don't think anyone can be sure with a time estimate at the moment, given the time of year as well as the backlog.

PNP NS skilled worker nominee
Applied PR and status bar showing 96%complete

My current WP is expiring next month ( employer specific WP - current permit I was applied before I got AOR , based on PNP work permit support letter )

Question- Can I eligible for BOWP ? Or should I need to stick with employer specific work permit ?

If you have closed work permit and you got AOR for your Pr application, you can submit BOWP application. Make sure you attach copy of AOR with it . Also look at your nomination certificate . If there are no restrictions on your Nomination certificate you are eligible for BOWP . But if there are restrictions unfortunately you can’t apply for open work permit. You have to get Employer specific work permit. You employer have to submit job offer in employer portal and pay $230 fees and you have to include job offer number starting with A********* in work permit application. So it all depends on your nomination certificate.

I have received a refund check for 170$ from IRCC. I don't know what it is for.
Can anyone clear it? Can it be biometric?

I have mailed out my application on July 22 to the Sydney office, after that I haven’t heard anything back from IRCC. I am wondering how can I make sure the Ircc has received my application? Thanks in advance for any help!
