Can u take oath from outside Canada?

No. You need to be in Canada. Are you abroad when the ceremony is? Then you'll need to reschedule the oath date, reply to the email you got the invitation from and explain why you need to move the date.

I agree that the results are skewed. I'm not sure when the spreadsheet stopped being edited for January 2021, but I only found out I could request access several weeks ago. I went back to page 80 to look for updates, but I'm sure there are some updates before that that were missed. And, if people knew that the spreadsheet was not being kept up to date, then they would be less motivated to actually post their updates. Some of those people may not come back now that they've decided not to update their info. [Or the updates just haven't been incorporated if before page 80.]

On the other hand, there are likely more online applications in March 2021 compared to January 2021, and with online applications generally moving quicker, that could cause the March applications being processed quicker than some January applications, but not to the extent that the skewed 51% VS. 38% invitation rate. Just a hypothesis though.

Applied on January 10 th I think , march 23 application started, may14th background verification, oct 25th schedule for test, nov 5th took the test 20/20 and last update on the site was nov 16th test completed . all the others still in progress

Applied Jan 17th, received AOR in March. Received test invite on Sep and finished it on Oct 18, it says passed but since then no other updates! Also they asked me to upload all of my passport pages which I emailed it to them. Anything else I should do?

Where are you applying from? Do you know the exact day that you received AOR in March? Date of in process on ecas? Date you were invited in September for test?

I am happy to inform that my family (of 3) is scheduled for Citizenship Oath Cermony on 22nd of December. My application office is Halifax, NS.
I wish everyone will get their Oath Invite very soon.

btw @CdnWifeLivingInThailand for me you can probably set ECAS IP to May 17th too, since it s when the BG check was completed and my application on the tracker now says "in progress", dated May 17th for last updated

I sent the reschedule email request one day ago to Vancouver office and just got an reply back that thank you for your email and the ceremony will be rescheduled for a future date. The original oath date was on December 23rd, I'm expecting the next they offer will be in the next 3 -6 months based on other people's experiences.

So here's the thing guys!! last night i had a dream that "i checked my application status and it was updated. I woke up at 7 and just because of that dream i checked my status.. I never check my application early in the morning (that too first thing in the morning while I'm still in my bed) because i used to think they probably start working around 9 so i'd check around 11 to see if there's an update..

And there was an update!! I FINALLY GOT TEST INVITE.. isn't that so so very strange lol.. no bs..

Finally a light of hope for all those who've been waiting for test invites since last 7-8 months ..and frustrated.. hope you alll get test invites too... It's about time lol.
