Just a flurry of updates the last few weeks... today Physical Presence is marked completed so just Oath Ceremony showing 'not started'. I don't think the new online tracker uses "Decision Made" so this is DM for the purposes of our spreadsheet? @CdnWifeLivingInThailand - could you update for me please?

Now back to the inevitable long wait for oath to be scheduled. Nearly there though!

Yes, only paper applications get DM in the ECAS (old tracker). For purposes of our tracker, when all of the areas are "complete" except for oath, we consider that decision made. So, now that everything is complete except oath, that is decision made! I'll add todays date as DM for you! Congrats! Hopefully you get scheduled for an oath date in the next month or two!

CST system just updated inviting me for the oath ceremony on Feb 24th. Didn't get the email with the instructions yet.

I've a question. I booked a flight to go abroad on Feb 24th (yes, what a good/bad coincidence!). As I will need to break the PR card, can I leave Canada without it and enter again with the tourist visa, as I won't have the passport in time?

Great news that they scheduled your oath. Unfortunate timing with your trip abroad. If you can't postpone your trip, I would reach out to them and reschedule your oath? Based on what I've read, you aren't able to return to Canada as a dual citizen without a Canadian passport (unless you are a dual US citizen and coming from the US). See link below.

Passed citizenship test - June 15, 2022 (know passed result on MS TEAMS as urgent case)
Decision made (all areas except oath marked as complete on the tracker - June 15, 2022
Date Oath scheduled - June 28, 2022
Date of citizenship certificate received- July 08, 2022
Date of passport received - July 13, 2022 (Apply at service Canada counter and request for 1 week urgent)

I contacted my MP, literally told me the exact same thing I was seeing in my application which was yiur background check was completed in May, but there is a delay due to covid and afghan refugee crisis, please be patient! Useless!

Same thing. I got my invite from the Edmonton office, no progress or update whatsoever.

A friend in Ontario had everything marked completed after 9 days.

Ah, I guess it’s an Edmonton thing as I also received mine from Edmonton.

You & I have the exact timeline, paper application.
I got my invite from the Edmonton office, no progress or update whatsoever since I submitted on the 31st of January.

A friend in Ontario had everything marked completed after 9 days of taking the online test in December. CIC Toronto office, his oath ceremony is will take place on the 17th of this Month.

The inconsistency is so frustrating and confusing.

Please hang in there, we are almost through.
