Unfortunately, Canada is in the middle of third wave with cases rising every day. They are planning to vaccinate 50-60 % by end of summer. I dont think they will lift the travel restrictions before that

@Canal1426 I honestly don't think that travel restrictions will be lifted any time soon, maybe it will be lifted after the majority of the population has been vaccinated.

Regarding the FSW draws, I believe that there will be a huge backlog of people when the draws open up.

I have accepted its going to take a long time upwards of a year or more as FSW processing before COVID-19 were averaging 9 months.

Yes, but only if you are inside Canada with no outland dependents.

Hi everyone! I just got off the phone with an agent and guess what!? I passed eligibility!
Still cannot believe it because NOC4012 is a bit tricky. My VO is Ottawa at the moment. Did not ask about the criminality and background check because I also received an answer to my webform which I have sent on April 1st, and it states as follows:

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The background verifications are currently valid.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification has not been initiated.

Anyway, I was super nervous about eligibility so I will be patiently waiting now while trying to finish my Ph.D. studies

1. The timeline graph that shows x% completed from 6 months has suddenly disappeared from my profile.

2. I want to understand the current status of my application. I see a lot of people commenting that their application is in the "Criminality" or "Security" phase. How are you finding this information.

3. I submitted my biometrics in Feb. I see the biometrics number being reflected in my profile "Applicant Information" but the status on biometrics reads:

• We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details.

Can someone help answer some or all of these questions?
