Hello,
I’m planning to start my husband application inside Canada, he’s living outside of Canada and after I submit he’s application am I allowed to live outside of Canada with him until he gets his visa? I know you have to work to show a prove to government that I can support him once he comes and for that I have a good amount of money to show government I can support him. And just to mention I am a Canadian citizen. So does anyone know if it won’t be an issue if I live outside of Canada?

AS a Canadian citizen, yes you can live outside Canada while the sponsorship is in process, you will need to mention in in the application that you live outside Canada (if you are applying before you move, and state that your current residence country is Canada, then you will have to update CIC once you leave Canada). You will need to show proof that you intend to move back to Canada once your spouse's PR application is approved, and this is the tricky part

You fill forms and pay online, send by post. You need to read the basic/complete guidelines, and go through the checklist before you start.

Biometrics, medical done for wife and son. GCkey Shows Biometric completed on 17th Feb 2020. Awaiting medicals to be uploaded by hospital into emedical portal.

Application was received Jan 9th and returned 29th Jan.

sorry if already answered but--got biometric request but not medical request...this normal? Seems like everyone gets them simultaneously. For those that got both, were both letters attached to the same email? Thanks!!

yes it is normal,sometimes medical request come after like mine

Just got the SA (hopefully it's an approval, the status page just says "Decision Made") and request for Medicals.

Sometimes change online take a few minutes/hours to update. Try checking again later
