Try ECAS First. It's simpler then you use the information on form imm0008 to link to GCKEY if ecas works.
 
Hi all,

Our application was received in Sydney on Jan 24 according to DHL. No AOR Yet. However I just successfully linked my account on MyCIC and the current status of my app says 'submitted'. Does this mean I will receive AOR soon? Can anyone link me to what all of the status' mean on MyCIC if this is collated somewhere?

If anyone wants to try and link theirs I used the only option that didn't require the UCI/Application Number and filled in the same information for the PA that was on the forms (specifically IMM0008). It didn't work the first two times until I finally read that the dependent number needs to be 2 even if it's just your spouse being sponsored.

Anecdotally in previous months the ability to get info from ECAS or link in MyCIC seemed to happen a very short period of time before AOR was received (like usually only a day or three).

BUT: yours was received there only two weeks ago. From messages here it seems they have been getting to AOR stage very quickly lately (at least compared to a few months ago), but it's also possible they have improved their systems and are now making 'submitted' info available through ECAS/myCIC more quickly than before.

You'll most likely get the email tonight. That's what happened to me 2 days ago. I'm Jan 23rd. I can access ECAS but not GCKEY lol. Locked myself out 2 days in a row. I put everything right. They must have something wrong but ladidah just happy I have my AOR1
