I know @bbjeon38 has medical request, also his medical was passed on Feb2,2021. He called IRCC, security hasn’t started

I got COPR updation in GCKey today. ECAS status says "Complete". Do not get any email. I want to know- do we receive any email from IRCC in confirmation of the PR?

AR: Feb. 25, 2020.
AOR: Mar.13, 2020.
MP: Aug. 19, 2020.
ADR: Aug.19,2020.(background declaration & PCC from India)
PAL: Aug.20, 2020 (for dependents only)
ADR submitted: Oct.15, 2020.
MP updated again:Feb.17,2021.

I see people with aor January 15 too received MR , and many others as well so thousands of MR were sent today i guess

if you guys are inland, go to gckey, check full application and see if the biometric has number or not.
If it has number, you might be biometric exempt so they’re gonna use the one you did before (work visa, study visa) because it lasts for 10 year.
I didn’t receive bil and they refunded a bio fee to me. My bio was in 2016 when i applied for study visa

According to my research MR gets generated once Security passes (Provided medical is NOT passed). If upfront medical is in progress (even if GC key says we are reviewing medicals), the system will see that medical is not passed and throw a auto generated MR. MR is definitely auto-generated. So it must be tied to one of these -- "Eligibility, Criminality, Info Sharing, Security". I passed Eligibility and criminality long back but never received MR. So, it has to be info sharing or Security. My best bet is Security because no point asking for medicals without the rest passing.

Again, IRCC keeps changing strategies. My info. could also be wrong. In fact no one can answer this with absolute certainty. We can just speculate.
Well done guys who received MR. You applied at the right time and your AoR delay frustrations are short lived. Expect PR soon once medical passes (according to me).

Processing file is more complex between processing stages and processing agencies. CIC’s VISA OFFICERS distributes stages to various agencies to work with BIO, Eligibility, background checking, medical clearance, security clearance etc. Security Screening is gone under IRCC, CBSA, CSIS. Now security clearance is even more complex because IRCC have dependency on CBSA-CSIS and CBSA depends on CSIS. After CSIS reports back to IRCC and CBSA, they individually review and reconfirm the reports and after the ALL IS WELL, your security is cleared. So if you want to blame for security go to CSIS and CBSA. Now these days CBSA is bounded by travel restriction and no extra time to do other work (In other words they are watching just few people entering CANADA and push them in quarantine center nothing else to do with laziness).
