i would push them regularly to get moving on your file. Seems like "the squeaky door gets the grease" approach works best...
I was a January 2020 applicant, Applied from Mississauga I got my citizenship certificate on Nov 3.

Had my oath yesterday
Finally))) after nearly 2 years I’m finally a citizen ..
now just have to wait till my citizenship certificate arrives ..

P.s. I got lucky yesterday... very short time after the oath our home internet died... we are still without internet , Bell guy will come only tomorrow ...

Hi everyone,
I'm applying for our first Canadian passports for the whole family. As a proof of parentage I'm supposed to send my kids foreign birth certificates along with a translated version.
My question is: Would it be possible to submit an electronic copy of the translation? It is already translated by a certified translator and has a stamp with the name and registration number. Or, should I send a regular translated copy.

Also a Jan 2020 Mississauga applicant - family applicant. Had our oath ceremony after a lot of pushing, finally on Dec 3rd. Awaiting our certificates now. When was your oath ceremony?

Reading through my GCMS notes. Has any one examined the Eligibility Due Dates to be true? I have all my eligibility due dates on Dec. 25. Not too far if they are true.

As per those due dates I should have been a citizen by Aug 2021 (that was the due date for most tasks in my GCMS notes) however all tasks got completed the first week of december. Now waiting for Oath.
