Send application on Dec 2019. Processing started on Mar 14, 2020. Background check completed.

No test request. Contacted CIC several times they dont have any idea and acting like a dumb person only to tell that its application is in process.

Thier attitude over the phone to me was like " please get off the phone "
Note : I was not arguing or acting rude, just wanted to say that my PR is going to expire so please speed up the process.

Your PR card may expire but your status as a PR does not. You can get your PR card renewed if you have need to travel soon.

Try to get gcms to see where its held up.
No use of calling for sure. The new dashboard tells equal/more than they know/tell.

Update:
Everything on my tracker has been updated to complete except for Oath ceremony. Oath activity hasn't started yet.

ECAS status has also been updated to decision made.

same here on my file everything is completed and old tracker descion made.
Whats next now how long it will take for oath ceremony?

I am a January 2020 applicant --- extemely slow process for me:

Last update was Bakground verification completed in Jan 2021..

I am also Jan 2020 application from Vancouver. Just had my test in beginning of this month. No update after that.

The chances are less for interview if you are requested for additional documents. Send it soon when officer is working on your file.

Email. Yeah. The regular mail would be slower.

My online application updated today like " You've been scheduled to take citizenship test on July 28, 2021. Information and instructions will be sent to you"
Any idea what's happening ???? 2nd test for what ?

Possibly your face was not fully visible during all/some of time of the test hence retake of test is sent.
Possibly this will be with the officer while he/she is online and you might be verbally giving answer to the questions he/she shares in MS Teams meeting.

Were there problems during your test? Do you remember that your face was visible all the time and no issues with your webcam?
There is not test window like last time, right?

This is the issue with cic. Instead of reviewing the test result within a month, they took 3 months to get back. already we wasted a year in pandemic and officer is wasting few more months just like that.

Ok. So start preparing as you might not be remembering all the dates and names. After reading the book couple of times, start your online practice next full week.

Not necessarily. There is a good chance you might not receive an interview request.

Yes few in other threads had this issue. Those were sent a separate individual invite by the officer few days earlier of the second test.
Search in other forum threads from Jan2020 to Jun2020 and you will get few. May be first check the tracker of 2020 to see if there is any notes on second test and ask that user about more on it.

Not sure what you meant by route.

But its not a big deal. Its just a usual web meeting like a video chat.
