I am in the same boat. decision made July 7th s citizenship ceremony was updated on August 27 and scheduled on september 17th . since then nothing . i have been contacting everyone for this because i need my passport to travel in back home for my Dad funeral and nobody is saying anything substantial. Where location is your file being processed?

can't you travel with your current passport?
if expired, you can renew it and travel before you get a Canadian passport

Aug 3, 2021 Decision made/All completed
Oct 6, 2021 Oath
Oct 18, 2021 Applied for passport (via Passport Canada)
Nov 1, 2021 - Passport received.

Hi, Did anyone here from Vancouver got the oath invitation recently?
I passed the test 9 July and got DM 27 August but nothing since then.
Feb 2020 family application.
Tried contacting MP and still waiting for my second ATIP report.

November, 2020 - Fingerprints Submitted

May 6, 2021 - Citizenship test done

May 16, 2021 : Citizenship test marked as completed

June 5, 2021 : Request for passport copies and interview request

June 22, 2021: Interview cancelled

July 7, 2021 : Language, Probations, Background and Physical Presence marked as completed. Oath pending.

September 17, 2021: DM in ECAS. Update in citizenship tracker showing September 17 (no oath yet)

Fingers crossed for the oath ceremony soon.

Just sharing an update that I finally received my oath invitation today for November 20! Almost at the end of the road

Today I got a ghost update on the new tracker. Nothing changed besides the date. Everything else is still green except oath. However, on eCAS my file went from decision made to back in process (DM to IP)? Anyone experience this before? I am Jan 2020 applicant from Calgary office. Passed test March 2021 and originally had DM Aug 25 2021. Not sure where to go from here. I feel hopeless

When I checked on Aug 25 or 26 the new tracker was all green besides oaths and eCAS said DM. But now new tracker still all green besides oath but eCAS is back in process

Just wanted to give update, Oath Ceremony Oct 20 and we received the certificate a week after. I was not sure of the specific date because we went out of town after the oath taking but when we went back Oct 29, it was already in our mailbox. Finally, Canadian citizens now! Thanking everyone in this forum!!! God bless to all!

I have the same situation. I am September 2019. i went from oath progress to oath not started. ( I even had been scheduled for oath and it was canceled). I heard that they rerun the background and the prohibition because the one they did is expired

thats worrying about rerunning BG Checks. Any idea how long are BG checks valid for ? a year or some months?

It happened to me as well. Today I checked again and my eCAS is back to Decision Made. We have similar dates, Feb 2020 applicant from Calgary Office (family). Passed the test in March 2021 and got DM on Aug 26th. This waiting is making me crazy.
