Test results not being confirmed for over 4.5 months appears to be out of the ordinary. Generally, it only takes a couple of days but could take something like 25 days or so for some applicants (and that is considered late).

Have you ordered GCMS notes yet?

Yes, the spreadsheet is certainly a heart-attack inducing document . Mid-Late 2019 and certain early 2020 applicants are amongst the unluckiest batch of citizenship applicants. Their applications have been delayed for such a long time. :-(

I'm not sure what else to suggest other than to order GCMS notes and see WTH is going on with your application.

Thanks for the response. Can you tell me how much time does it take to receive GCMS notes? Also does it hinder the progress of my application? (I've heard calling/emailing them too many times can push my application at the 'back of the pile' lol)

30 days is the standard timeframe. It could take anywhere between 35 and 45 days (if they don't request for an extension). If they request for an extension, then the processing time is 60 days.

No - There is no evidence whatsoever that says applying for GCMS notes affects the processing of your citizenship application.

What about the web form on the IRCC website? I sent a web form request asking for info but I'm still waiting for a response.

Hello Everyone,

I did my citizenship test on 3rd July and on 8th July it got marked as completed. I am seeing a lot of people on Facebook groups asked to submit scanned coloured copies of passport pages along with test invite.

I wasn’t asked for Scanned passport copies in the test email. Anybody knows why ? I did submitted copies of all biographical pages and stamped pages with Visa when I submitted my application.

Also, I realized my status on the tracker was last updated on April 23rd 2021. However, the tracker says it gets updated weekly.

Is this normal?

Just checked the old system and status has been updated to 'Decision Made'. I think it may have changed along with everything else yesterday.
