@legalfalcon I applied for PR (CEC inland) January 2020 and got my COPR April 2021. I'm still waiting for my PR card and it's already been 6 months since I applied PR card. Do you know what happens if I still didn't get PR card when my COPR expires? Do I still have the status?

COPR never expires. It is proof of your PR status in Canada. The date you see on COPR is the date before which you have to land in Canada if you receive your COPR when you were outside Canada.

PR cards are delayed, and you will have to follow up with IRCC.

If you do not receive one in the next few weeks, you will have to re-apply.

By the grace of God, I finally received my PPR email today! No words to describe the feeling of it.

Although I have not received any medical request, but there is an update stating that they are reviewing medical exam.. What does it mean, do you have any idea? Or it is by mistake.

This is the time when they will make a decision to extend or ask you for a re-medicals. My application had this update and I got the re-medical request 3 days later.

I have never received any medical request. So no question of re medical.

One quick query... my COPR expired on 26th june 2021, I have got a remed request a day back.

Any idea as to when I get my second COPR will the validity be upto a year ( in sync with my medical validity) or are they giving shorter validity visa for 2nd COPR cases

I am from India and most likely my VO is New Delhi.

Would really appreciate if you can throw some light on this. I need to plan my kids schooling based on this.
