I wish it was true, but it is not. I am US resident, everything stuck since April 2020. According to calls, webforms etc they are prioritizing applications of Inlands.

Was on hold due to biometrics.

Last note of officer something related to 'All approved. ready for finalize. biometrics not passed due to fingerprints'.

Yeah same, approved Feb 2021 but no updates since then. Still stuck in the COVID PACE group

I am not approved, security still to be started. Even if they unlock processing I am looking to 2-3 months before PPR. Hopefully you will get to the end soon after border reopens.

After your provide the biometrics the fingerprints are run though RCMP and they will send a report to IRCC, and only then will your criminality be passed.

Congratulations! If I may ask, is being in Canada for tourism considered as begin "Inland" somehow?

Thanks! I was not here for tourism. I am here under Family Reunification to be with my Canadian spouse. That is very different. But I do believe that being physically present in Canada worked favorably in my case.

1-3 days will not make a difference given that you can justify why you re coming in early. However, all decision to allow someone to enter canada by made by the Border Security Officer at the port of entery

Recently I have got my eCOPR on the new PR portal, and the address has been reviewed and accepted but the photo is still in review.

Can I ask howmany days will it take to receive a PR card from new PR portal ? I can also see that some are still getting the COPR's in their email directly and those are applying the PR card manually, in my case, I dont need need to apply so Im not able to track anything,

IRCC is currently following both, PR portal and physical method to request PR card.

If you were asked to submit your photos online, then just give it 2-3 weeks and you will have your PR card.

Coz they are incompetent.. when they couldn't process existing applications, they kept on accepting more and more new applications.. now even if they approve backlogged ones it'll be a flood of immigrants.. introducing job problems.. housing.. increased racism.. etc. etc. .. I just wish they give my money back with 2 years of interest!

My medical is going to expire in this June 26, 2021 (My medical passed date: June 26 2020).
Are they going to ask me to redo medical again or they will extend?
When can I know about the extension?
