Does anyone know what is the average time to get PPR email after remedical? Paris visa office, FSW-O
Thanks!

There is no template per se, but ask about eligibility, criminality, background, security... generic questions about status will elicit a generic response. If you search through the forum for web form responses you will notice a wide variety of responses. If possible you can also call and inquire as well.
Hello @legalfalcon

I received an email on 16th Jan 2020 regarding my upfront medicals that I did on 16th Dec 2020 before receiving the request from IRCC.

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

We are pleased to confirm reception of the document(s).

We have forwarded them to the responsible office for their consideration.

I also got my Medicals done gain with the IME number (IMM 1017E) on 13th Jan ..

So which medicals would be updated faster in the system?

Also I got a Request Letter asking For IMM 5669E Schedule A. Is this a step towards PR?

AOR 21st January 2020, FSW - O, Primary Office: Ottawa. Just received my GCMS notes today, under assessments the final decision is Approved and my application has been moved to CPCO COVID RFV. My medical which expired last year in October were extended and now the GCMS notes show that they are valid till 27th Feb 2021. My Question is should I go ahead to get my medical test again before expiry, or wait when they ask me to get medicals test because I don't think I would get another extension and travel restrictions are less likely to be lifted before this date. @legalfalcon

You can can wait or get a new medical done and submit the upfront medical sheet. When you get a new med done, your medicals are valid for 1 year, the extensions are usually given for 3 or 6 months. Extensions are at the discretion of IRCC.

Thank you for the feed back !!! IRCC has really got our lives stuck at the moment. I was planning to start our family but this re medical thing, I don't think we would be able to get X rays done and medical would be delayed and hence our application.

It seems like everything was passed as per your notes, so the new notes won't bring anything new.

As regards re-med, if your meds have expired then IRCC may have granted an extension. Check your MyCIC account, what does the MEP say?

Thanks for your input mate, MEP says that i dont need a medical at this stage

Most likely IRCC has not made a decision n whether to extend or not. You can get a re-med on your own accord, or wait for IRCC to send you a message for re-med.

Alternatively, you can send a webform and ask about the status of your medicals.

Sent passport to IRCC delhi for stamping on 17thDec2020. 6thJan2021 received primary applicant's passport with COPR and visa, but dependents passports are still showing as under processing with IRCC. Received an email asking for fresh photos, sent them to IRCC delhi and delivered on 11thJan2021. Still no update on dependents passport. Anyone faced similar situation?
