Hi @legalfalcon / member's,

AOR : Jan 20, 2020
FSW-O ; Ottawa
I would like to have your valuable advise about PCC. We were living in Dubai when we applied for PR and now we have moved to India permanently in september.
We have updated this change to IRCC.

My Question is : As the PCC's would have expired by now, will there be an ADR for new PCCs? And if so, do we need to apply for a new PCC from Dubai and India or only Indian will be enough?

Please give me an answer as this piece of information is very important to make a few decisions.
Thanks.
You don't have to submit new PCCs...

Hi @legalfalcon my medical expired today and it says that “You don’t need a medical and we will let you know if it’s required”. On the cic portal, my profile showed up as profile updated.

My question is - For medical expiry would this update be automatically generated as medical reached expiry date? Or would someone open the application and then it would get triggered?

My AOR - 10th Jan 2020 and my VO - Ottawa. Application has been pending final decision since quite a while.

All documents including PCCs have to be valid as on the date the application is submitted. After an application is submitted, and if a document expires, you do not have to provide a new one.

However, if required, IRCC can ask for a new document on a case by case basis, but you do not have to provide one even if you changed your country of residence.

If your medicals have expired or will expire, the officer will send your medicals for reassessment to the regional medical officer who will make a determination on whether to ask for a remed or give you an extensions,

When the medicals re sent for reassessment, you will see the change in the medical status on your MyCIC account.

Thanks @legalfalcon, yes it has expired. Does the sending of medicals for reassessment happen automatically? Or does an officer have to open the application to do this manually?

An officer will have to do it. It does not happen automatically, although the officer will be notified by the system of the expired medicals.

If they ask to correct the COPR, they will have to cancel the existing COPR and issue a new one.
Hi Manmeet, I have raised the web form on 8th December, 2020 and they have not come back to me so far. Is this a lengthy process considering the fact that the VO is in the same city as where I reside (Abu Dhabi)? I have read some blogs whereby they mentioned that this correction of incorrect passport expiry date can also be ammended at the POE. So incase they don't reply back to me at all will it be advisable to travel with this error on my son's copr?

You can sure travel and pint it out to the CBSA officer at the PoE. But make sure you point it out and get it corrected.

Hi to everyone here. And many congrats to new copr holders.
Anyone can advise if any way/route to have hard landing , as we belong to after march 18 candidates.

@legalfalcon

Good evening! My AOR is 21st January 2020 under FSW-Inland category. As per GCMS notes, application has been approved since end of July 2020 but still not closed. I have not received COPR and this is the last step. This December 19th, I will be completing 1 year of Canadian Work Experience. If I submit my 1 year of work experience letter through web form, will my application category be moved from FSW-Inland to CEC?
