The case processing agents was only able to assess 429. Most likely your employment seems to be the issue and not the PoF.

How many years of work experience did you claim and what all documents did you submit.
I claimed for 3 years of experience in my current NOC and provided two experience letters from two different companies without any gap in employment.
As i said i was transferred to my current employer and my job title and duties remained same. However, I provided an experience letter from my current employer with job descriptions etc. But that letter contained 11 months of experience rest 2.5 years was with my previous company and their employment letter did not have job duties mentioned. I guess that might be the issue, but i did explain things in LOE, which seemingly did not work in my favour.
Anyway, I'll get updated letter from my previous company and send via webform. It says case parked due to medical issue that might be covid delay. Lets hope for the best and thanks!!

Hello Guys,
I have been a silent member until now and always got guidance from this forum whenever I had any confusion. Now I received my GCMS Notes today which i requested on Aug 25, and I am amazed that my eligibility has not been started yet (AOR Jan 12). Although, in last two pages it mentioned that my eligibility is under review as per notes :.....

A11.2 - CASE PROCESSING AGENT: Lock-in Date: 2020-01-12_ PA: - EE FSW Having
analyzed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file, I make the following recommendation.

It also says at the end R10 OK recommended pass .. and in one line it says FSW case parked due to following issue: Medical

@legalfalcon .. Can you please provide me some insights into this. Is t because of my job or POF ? I was transferred to my current employer from my previous company, but my job title, duties and working hours remained unchanged. Therefore, I only provided job duties letter from my current employer where I worked almost a year along with normal experience letter without any duties from my previous company where I worked for 2.5 years. However, I did provide a LOE for the same.

What can I do to help my application at this stage? Should I provide them job duties letter from my previous employer? And do I need to provide updated POF too? I could see in other sections saying minimum Funds: met... I welcome feedback from all members and wish you all luck in this tense situation. Thank you !!
Why did not you provide experience letter from the previous company? They need to verify with official documents that you performed these tasks. Senior officer may accept your LOE but it is best not to take any risks and provide the document.

In review type it says....

NOTES: 5

Restricted: No Label: General

Office: Centralized Intake Office

Text: REVIEW TYPE: Program Assistant APPLICATION #: REGULATION: FSW PARKED CASE

NOTES Case parked due to the following: - Medical issue

Yeah I understand now. Actually I work for the Dubai Govt Sector, but Dubai Govt never hires directly they use third party recruiting companies to hire their employees and handle their work permits and salaries etc. I have been working with them since 2016 but my recruiting company changed in 2019, and I was transferred to another company visa and everything else remained unchanged. I tried to explain this in my LOE but apparently that didn't work. I'll get updated letter from my previous company and send the letter right away. They also put POF review required that I don't understand.
I believe this is related to your medical exam report not where you work. Did you pass medical?

A RR by itself is not an issue. See my post on RR, reporting it here:

Understanding “Review Required”

A lot of applicants see “review required” in their GCMS notes for eligibility. There are many theories floating around with regard to what “review required” means and if it is alarming.

Before I venture into explaining the significance, it is important to understand that each application goes through the following stages as per the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and the regulations (Canadian Immigration Law):

R10 – Completeness Check
Criminality
Medicals
A11.2 – eligibility
Security

Out of the above, the most important stage is eligibility. This is also the most time-consuming stage because your documents have to be verified, evaluated and assessed to ascertain that you meet the eligibility criteria for the program you have applied (FSW / CEC / FTW). To stream line this process and make it easier for an immigration officer (decision making authority), all applications are first evaluated by case analysts or program assistants. They review the documents and summarize it in the GCMS. If they have any concerns with any document or want the immigration officer to carefully look into a specific document, they will flag it as “review required.” It is the content of the note that is important here. If the review required is for a specific document, while the summary of the note says that an applicant has met the eligibility, or “ready to finalize” it simply means that while the applicant has met the eligibility criteria, but the specific document needs a careful examination form the officer before promoting (eligibility pass) by the officer.

However, if there are concerns, there will be a review required for the eligibility, and there will be no text to the effect “ready to finalize” or pass. The note will specifically state job duties do not match, or the employment cannot be verified, or the number of years of work experience claimed cannot be verified. This is where an application can land in muddy waters. But the final decision rests on the immigration officer. He may override the decision of the analyst / assistant or go with the analysis of the analyst / assistant.

Even in cases where the analyst / assistant is of the opinion that the applicant has met the eligibility, and there is no “review required,” the officer can replace it with his own opinion. Though rare, but it does happen. This is why the eligibility is only passed when an officer conclusively marks the eligibility as passed.

Finally, there is “review required” for PoF. This is the most common in many applications. This is because, the financial and banking practices of each country are different. Eg. Fixed deposits are know as Certificate of Deposit (CD) in the US. Similarly, treasury bonds, mutual funds, stocks, and many other investment vehicles are there. If your PoF anything other than a bank deposit, it is more likely that it will be marked as “review required.” Also, IRCC does not go by day to day fluctuations in FOREX. Instead, the Canadian federal government issued a quarterly conversion rate for all FOREX vis-a-via CAD. If your PoF is in a foreign currency, then you may have “review required” for the officer to make a determination.

Just because you have “review required” does not mean that you hit the panic mode. Instead, read the context in which it is there. If there is a concern regarding a document, you can send a replacement document via CSE. The most common reasons for RR are:

1. Work reference letter without job duties
2. Work reference letters missing all the details requested by IRCC
3. If you submitted a letter from a colleague because you were unable to get one from your employer, but did not have a LoE on file, this too will lead to RR.
4. Not sufficient work experience in the primary NOC.
5. Inability to verify your employment as your employer details are missing.

There are just some of the scenarios.

Hi guys, my AOR is January 23rd and I’m an FSW-OUTLAND candidate from India. Initially, I have applied from the USA, since I was working there. However, 30 days after my application, my visa ran into issues at the port of entry to the US and I was deported. I have confessed this to IRCC immediately and changed my address and contact number in the mean time and I’ve also specified that I’ll be providing additional documents to them if needed.

My medicals passed and I gave my biometrics. Unfortunately in June, I found out that, my file ran into review required. And I figured out the reason before I got the GCMS. I found that the letter that one of my employers provided was dated wrong, which lead to the 3 years of work experience claimed becoming wrong. And my latest work experience had an NOC mismatch due to the fact that my HR was not willing to give me a letter with NOC details beyond what I was hired for. Although, I worked as what I claimed the NOC for.

After this, for the first mistake, I submitted a corrected letter, my relieving letter and my pay stubs as proof. And for the NOC mistake, I requested a letter from my Manager, Colleague and also attached some pay stubs, and provided the contact of another colleague. I submitted all this around the month of July.

And there is no sign of them looking into my document until this date. I know timelines are ridiculous to ask during this Corona period, but any average timelines any of you can provide based on similar experiences?

I’m not sure when they’re gonna take a look at my profile. But there’s another huge pathway to cross once the security stage hits due to the Visa issue in the US. Any recommendations on that? As far as my lawyer says, it is going to be okay. But I feel like I need a second opinion?

please advice.

thank you for reading, such a long message.

I actually did provide an experience letter from my previous company but without job duties, I did include a LOE explaining my situation. Anyway, I sent webform with my updated letter with job descriptions now. I hope they update my profile soon as the system seems to be very slow these days.
Yes, I did pass my medicals.

Thank you for your detailed response. Yes I agree with you, I read many cases on this forum where almost all applicants with review required received their PR. My visa office London is notorious for taking long time to process applications.

One more thing, my eligibility status in different section of notes was going back and forth between 'calculation in progress' and 'passed-candidate' and sometimes 'calculate'.. for example on some occasions it says ....new value: passed-candidate and old value: calculation in progress etc.

What does this mean? Thank you !

I made the same mistake by not providing them employment letter in correct format with job descriptions. My application is in review required for the same, I am not sure about the timeline but they might already have attached it with your application you can only find out thru requesting GCSMS again , but I think review stage will not be over until they revisit your application, which is taking time due to COVID.

"passed candidate" refers to when when it is passed based only on your profile as claimed by you. When it goes in progress, it will show the same, this happens when the application starts processing.

Hi @andy108 @legalfalcon l I need urgent advice. I received a GU on 5th September and today I received a medical examination request along with form IMM1017E. I have been asked to upload the report within the next 30 days. I had taken an upfront medical exam with validity till 2nd December. Do I need to retake the medical exam? Is there any particular reason they have requested for a remed? I had passed medical on 5th Feb. Please respond. Thankyou
Did you receive any update after submitting remedial? Thank you.

@legalfalcon I need your valuable response. Today I received my gcms notes. I am CEC inland applicant with AOR 20 Jan 2020.
In assessment section following are the values
Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not started
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info sharing : complete
Other Reqs:
Final :

In Notes1. Label: Adm/ criminality
Text : ****officer review**** says decision: passed criminality.
In notes 2 . Label: General
Text *** officer review**** Integrated search completed - NAI Eligibility Passed, criminality passed, Meds Valid.
Notes 1 and 2 were created on 28 May 2020. No update after this date.
My files(with files of 3 dependants) were transferred from Edmonton to Ottawa due to workload re-distribution on 21 May 2020.

somewhere in Organisations it says Covid Pace.

But in Notes 5 which were generated on 4 Feb 2020 in Edmonton. Everything was verified and accepted by the Program assistant R10 we also ok. Education, experience, ECA reports, medicals, biometric, pcc and Crs score ets all were verified and accepted. No objections mentioned. But he gave recommendation: Review Required- stat questions

Under this Age was mentioned and program assistant mentioned “Applicants age reviwed- No change from ITA to e-APR—- documents set for review—-client information.

However in Activities section in activity 3 and 6 they mentioned that my 11.2 EE-MI as met. And criminality as passed which was done in Ottawa. activity 1 and 2 and various other activity sequences are missing in notes are missing in Activity section. I don’t know why.

Overall is there something to worry as my security has not started yet. What could be the reason for this delay. They haven’t asked me for any document either. Please help as it is hard to bear this frustrating wait. Thanks

There is nothing to worry as your eligibility is passed based on your note 2. After the eligibility is passed, your security should have started. If it did not, then it could be because of the COVID pace, which just means that the application is on hold with other files and will be picked up in due course.

As regards the activities that are missing, do you see any number on top right corner of the page, if yes then they may be redacted.

Many applications are pending initiating security even when their eligibility is passed.

Hello There,

I am also an SINP outland applicant, when did you manage to get this information through GCMS, how long did it take? I raised a web form request 3 weeks back but haven't received any reply.

Thanks :) hopefully things work out.

Regards.

don't trust webform replies they don't give you true picture. GCMS notes are better option
