FSW-Inland candidate, AOR January 21, 2020. VO-Ottawa. I received GMC notes twice, one in August 2020 and again in December 2020. Both times, same information, Page 2 of my notes say the following:

"ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs: Cancelled
Final: Approved"

There has been no movement on my file since July 2020, and today I saw a ghost update, "Application updated", with no changes in the status inside my application page. My application has been in "Final: Approved" status since July 21, 2020, and has not changed ever since. The only step pending is for an officer to approve and close my file. Given the recent ramp up of IRCC to process application, does this ghost update mean something good for me? Thank you for your help in advance!

A ghost update indicates a movement, can be a mundane one to a major one, no one can predict.

Lately IRCC has been allocated additional resources, including Human Resources and things will move.

Any movement is a good sign.

Hi. I am also January 23, 2020 AOR. Everything passed since July 24,2020. There has been no movement what so ever from them. Been waiting a while. Are you in group 2 2TRG34LC group in GCMS?

they didn't asked me for re-medical after it's expired, so i assume it's extended?

Everything passed since Oct 2020. My medicals expired in Jan 2021, but neither they extended it nor they requested re-medical. I was told by IRCC agent that inland applicants are exempted from re-medicals as we are already inside canada. But it is not sure whether it will be extended or will remain as is.

IRCC will extend your ME before they make final decision.
I got a GU (extend ME ) then a email (about Portal ) in Feb.
Finally, I got eCoPR today.

Hi, yes, we are pretty much in the same status, my last major update was also in July 2020. I am also in Group 2# 2-TRG34LC, and I received another ghost update today, hopefully things work out well and fast. I have requested another set of GCMS notes, so I will know what is happening these two weeks in after 30 days.

Congratulations! I got two consecutive Ghost Updates, one yesterday and one today. I am also FSW - Inland, January 21 AOR applicant. Your information is very hopeful and promising. I hope my file will also move quickly in the new few weeks. Did you receive a phone call from an agent/officer before getting a COPR or it was direct to email?
