Hello @legalfalcon , I have 2 questions to ask and would be glad if you could help guide and advice me.

1. Is it necessary to raise another GCMS notes after I earlier raised one in July with the latest notes saying

Note 1: text ; item to be requested/next step - passport, photos, RFV check - FINDEC

Note 2 : Elegibility met, PA meets r75 (2) & r76(1)
Criminality passed background info, travel history, info sharing, biometric& pcc reviews with no concerns, med passed

The reason why I’m asking is because I have not received any update from IRCC.

2. I did my Medicals on Jan 11 and AOR is Jan 12. Got update on my IRCC profile that Medicals passed on Jan 31. Is Medicals expiring based on the date of medicals of Jan 12 or date that IRCC acknowledges medical passed on Jan 31st. ?

Many thanks for your help .

No need to request another GCMS as your file seems to be almost completed. Your medical will expire Jan 31st. You cannot get PPR due to travel restrictions.

Will everyone of us would be required take our medical again?
My medical passed on 31st Jan but still not yet get requirement for re-medical test. Not sure if they will ask everyone to redo it. However, if everyone is asked, it is likely that they are planning for new applicants landing on 2021, instead of in the last quarter of 2020.

1. If your eligibility is passed, there is no need for GCMS notes, as you already know the info. GCMS notes are only useful to know the status of eligibility, which you already have.

2. Medical for applicants who pass a medical examination in or outside Canada are valid for twelve months from the date of the last medical assessment of an applicant’s file by a medical officer and/or delegated staff.
