Your eligibility is not yet passed.@legalfalcon,
As per GCMS notes received in June, my assessment section was as follows:
Eligibility - met
Security- not started
Criminality- passed
Info sharing - complete
I got a ghost update on 28/07/2020 and ordered another set of GCMS notes after that. The assessment section of the latest notes looks as follows:
Eligibility - passed
Security - blank (s15 and s16 is there in the page which has security under admissibility)
Criminality - passed
Info sharing - complete
I can see s15 in the second page of my notes. And also under activities section, old value of eligibility which was ‘met’ previously has been changed to ‘passed’ in the new value.
but my only concern is, I can’t see officer’s comments under notes. I still see only the Analist’s comments under notes 1 where he confirmed that ‘all appears met and ready to finalize’.
Further, I can see ‘COVID Pace’ under organizations with a remark ‘Pending Findec’. Assignment date is 21/08/2020.
kindly confirm whether everything is ok In my application and I can breath peacefully now.
Thanks
No one has the answers. All stuff floating is just speculation. Wait for official announcement. Thanks @legalfalcon . That means there’s a lot of uncertainty as to know when COPRs or PPRs will be issued or requested. My home country just lifted international travel restrictions to take effect from 29th August.
So I’m wondering how things will play out whether vfs offices will be opening early or not or whether vfs will have to wait till travel restrictions are lifted in Canada. Etc
I am just so curious
Passed is usually used by an officer who makes a final determination. Whereas met and recommended passed are used by assistants or analysts. However, it is not the vocabulary but the note that matters.@legalfalcon,
this is a comment for your reply under # 3,831. I can’t comment on that reply for some reason.
why does my Eligibility under assessment section says ‘Passed’. Previously it was ‘met’
The webform responses are ambiguous and confusing. Lost likely your eligibility is recommended passed and awaiting an officer's determination.Hi Guys ,
Good day,
I am a PNP Outland applicant with AOR on 25th jan 2020. I received a ghost update about a forth night ago . I raised a web form to see what is happening with my application . On checking the response I am confused/concerned with the update! My last Webform raised a month ago showed that my eligibility is met and security has not been initiated! But today, the webform says that the eligibility criteria is being checked by the case officer and the security is valid ! I always thought that security will be the last step and will only be undertaken if everything else is good . Please find below my 2 webform responses
Last month’s webform

Is Note 3 by an analyst / assistant or an officer?Hi @legalfalcon could you please help me with this.
The documents have to be valid on the date you submit your application. If they expire later, it does not matter and this goes for all documents, ECA, Language scores and PCC.@legalfalcon
hi, i was issued police certificate on 9th October 2019, so in one and a half month it'll be expiring. i have no update from IRCC about my application yet and apparently they are going to take more time. do you think i should apply for a new police certificate, should IRCC take any longer with my application?
