Hi Andy,

I applied for visitor visa in 2018 and it was refused for general reasons. Now I submitted my EE after getting nomination from PNP and they assigned me the same UCI number which I had for visitor visa.

Does it mean they already verified my previous rejections and background details?

Also, my biometrics enrolment date and number is updated in the express entry but still it is showing i have to give fingerprints along with the photo. The biometrics details they showed is actually from my visitor visa application which was refused in 2018.

Regarding UCI: As per IRCC website, UCI is person/candidate specific not application specific. IRCC can pull up all previous or ongoing applications based on UCI. Although people got 2 UCI numbers in the past (1 for PR and 1 for non-pr visas), IRCC handle these cases separately and make 1 UCI per candidate.

Regarding bio-metrics: Once done, It's valid for 10 years for the candidate (per UCI) so, If you apply for any non-pr visa in future, the system won't ask for additional bio-metrics. But every time Candidate apply for PR, new bio-metric request will be there. IRCC understands dual intent. If request is for BIL, you will have to go for it.

Hi andy,

Thank you for your reply, so once i will go for biometrics then new fingerprints details will replace the old ones along with the enrollment number?

Has anyone tried calling the IRCC to make info changes? I just can't get the menu to speak to an agent and have been listening to their shitty slow menus over the past hour. Anyone know the menu options to reach straight to an agent?

I am not Mr. Andy..lol you welcome.
Most likey no, The biometric details that you see will remain as is, but biometric step will get marked as completed post biometrics submitted for PR. But how soon? I don't know. No one had responded me earlier.

Hello aor janvier 2020 . Est ce que quelqu'un n'as pas encore recu la lettre de bio et validation Vm ?

Hello All, anyone here who did Biometrics after receiving AOR from USA? I got the Biometric request letter on Jan 24th and the latest appointment available was Feb 7th. Is it normal? What would be the next step. Please let me know. Thanks!

I got RPRF request today (Feb 6th). Letter says my admissibility check is in progress. I was in impression that RPRF will be requested only after the application gets approved. What does this mean now?

AOR - 3rd Jan
MEP - 22 Jan
Bio Passed - 28th Jan
First ghost update - 29 Jan
RPRF requested - 6th feb.

What stage my application is now in ?

AOR - 23 Jan 2020
Ghost Update- Updated- Feb 6, 2020.
Background Check- Not Applicable
MEP- No change.
The blue bar showed up and is showing 8% complete today but no change in MEP or Biometrics.

My application was cancelled and the letter says that I did not provide my marriage license certificate although I have. My score is 472 right now, next week I will be 30 and lose 5 points. What should I do? It is not even my fault. Please advice what should I do?
