Hi! The first webform I submitted was to know my status at 49% in April, 2nd one was in May with the status of 77% complete. This time I will wait till 100%. Hopefully, they should let me know by July 7th, 2020.

Since we’ve same timelines...Did you realise it should be 91% and 15 days? It’s been 165 since applied not sure why it’s still showing 17days instead of 15

If they will send us the PR card directly, until we receive the card, we can't change SIN or get OHIP.
I wish they will give us some documents to start working on the benefits first.

I think our issues are all happening in Etobicoke landing office due to a large amount of cases. Are you in Toronto as well?
Yes we are in Toronto. Application approved on June 03rd,2020. I hope that we will receive our COPR soon or any document to send our photos for the PR-Card .

I ordered my gcms notes 15 days back and got the response. The most recent notes by my visa officer is "No adverse history / PCs clear, Meds passed, For RFV review".

Can someone please help me in understanding what is RFV review?

You can but It would be a gamble. When resubmitted the job duties for the NOC, one has to provide the detailed explanation & attach any supporting documentation to avoid to reflect it as misinterpretation which is most important thing you will have to keep in mind during the documentation. Goal should be IRCC must get convinced.

That’s just my viewpoint & I am not a legal expert. It’s up to you to decide the best course of action. Good luck.

Summary Notes: UNABLE TO CONFIRM NOC EXPERIENCES WITH UNI... PA HAS CLAIMED NOC 0421 FOR THESE EXPERIENCES. LOE SHOWS PA WA A TA/RA FOR THE MENTIONED ROLES. UNABLE TO CONFIRM # YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. APPEARS CRS NOT MET. PLEASE REVIEW.


I requested my boss for a better and detailed LOE that matches the NOC better. And can I now write to CIC with the updated LOE and explain why I chose this NOC and not what they expected referring to the above from GCMS notes?

I think it means Ready for Visa and should mean good :)

Apart from the updated employer job duties, you can add a LOE to explain why are you making the change, Explain politely you wanted to take extra step to provide with the most accurate version. Add distinct bullet points to Explain a few job duties with adding realistic examples/facts. To support those examples, based on your job, You may seek related letter from teammates / manager/ Client that will prove you have actually performed those. You can draft it & ask them to confirm via email or sign. Point is IRCC should get convinced with your the NOC selection & job duties. They will appreciate honesty.

Thank you, I am working on getting an updated letter from my employer. Meanwhile, do I have to refer to the GCMS notes in my LOE?

Also, I understand that there is another NOC CODE for Research Assistants. Do I also explain why I chose this specific NOC CODE and not that of a RA/TA?
