Criminal admissibility and security admissibility are different, but they are commonly refereed to as BGC collectively.@legalfalcon in security check will they also check criminal background check? And do they inquire from police in the security checks? Or else from immigration department of the country?
The PCC like other documents have to be valid only at the time when you apply. Only the medicals have to be valid when you apply as well as when you land.Hi @legalfalcon I ordered GCMS notes and here it mentions:
Assessments
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org: Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Final:
I checked the Criminality portion and it shows the validity till 2022, so does it mean they will not ask for PCC again till 2022 if for any reason my application will be delayed?
No. If your family composition changes before you land in Canada as a PR, even if your COPR has been issued, you have to inform IRCC.@legalfalcon As I have seen the other threads if someone is getting married after receiving the COPR then they need to inform IRCC through the webform then the current COPR will be cancelled, so the new application will be started from the beginning for the main applicant too? Like he has to submit his PCC along with other documents too?
Did you get the PPR ?Hi,
I had a question and was hoping someone here could help me out.
My info -
FSW-O
27th Jan AOR
I had done my medical on 25th Jan 2020.
Still awaiting PPR
As of 10th Aug :
- The eligibility verifications are currently valid.
- The security background verification is currently valid.
- The criminal background verification is currently valid.
My questions:
Once the COPR is issued to me , for how long will it be valid and by when can I land in Canada?
As far as I have been able to look up online, I should land before my medical can expire. Is this information true? If so can we re-do our medical ?
And if my medical does expire before I get the COPR, will I have to re-do the medical ?
Thank you for helping out in advance.
Most likely yes. If the date changed then you must have been given an extension. The medicals have to be valid not only when the application is filed, but also when you land.@legalfalcon my medical dates are changed and now status shows in the medical you have passed the medical on October 22, 2020 but my medical is already passed on feb 2020. Does it mean they extended my medical?
As per the response, your eligibility is either passed or recommended passed by an analyst or assistant. The eligibility happens in two stages. to read on that, you can see my older post at #2,521@legalfalcon

I raised a webform to ask about the status of my application and received the following response.
We verified the information on file and can confirm that:
What does this actually mean? Can you please help me to understand the status of my application?
- The eligibility verifications are passed.
- The background verifications are currently valid.
Thank you in advance.
