Make sure you update to the latest version available of Reader. It might solve this problem. Actually, this is something Adobe needs to fix, as the bug was introduced in the latest version of Reader by them.
Thank you. I will check again to see if I have the latest version. If the latest version has the bug, should I download the previous version though?

@ingoingoingo @ansh2309 @wjillm its been a while since we got the file number. could the reason for delay be that our employers have been contacted and none of them replied?
I don’t think so, as I’m pretty sure my boss would have let me know if he’d been contacted. He’s also very good at keeping on top of emails etc (assuming they did not ring). I will ask him on Monday, which will be 24 days from FN.

Other possibilities are that they’re not issuing until federal government confirm numbers allocated (or perhaps even allowed to issue, at least for “new” applicants from 2020 vs. people who applied in 2019 such as under AOS but had their applications in progress).

Or maybe are focussing efforts on AOS at the moment, having cut down the number and waiting time a lot (now to 1625 from memory). There’s no guarantee for the timescale. The 1-3 weeks estimate was based on limited evidence found in these forums from last quarter of 2019. Think had even been 2-3 months previously...

But it would definitely be nice to hear something!

Any other thoughts?

Found this post for Ontario program. Not certain it’s true but would support this theory.
I am not sure when they will get their nomination allocation in 2020. Based on situation in 2019, it seems OINP is not open only after quota assignment.
From https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/oinp-employer-job-offer-foreign-worker-stream.651768/post-8423309

I can find basically nothing online apart from some news articles in late 2019 saying that federal provincial nomination allocations were delayed due to the general election. And expect to announce “soon”.

Then I think you are right about the quota allocation. In Nov 2019, most of them got Nominations within 3 weeks. Some even got in 7 days.

We just can wait now and hope for the best.

I’ve had a quick look at forums for Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia by search tool ... didn’t come across anyone with application/FN in 2020 who’ve heard as yet. I don’t have immigration tracker but does anyone else?

There’s nothing about allocation on IRCC twitter account, except to announce that the Immigration Minister Hon. Marco Mendicino gave a speech on Feb 28th.

See article here: https://www.cicnews.com/2020/02/canada-to-welcome-over-one-million-new-immigrants-between-2020-2022-0213818.html#gs.xv62rs

This says that “he will formally table Canada’s 2020-2022 Immigration Levels Plan in March”.

Video is here: https://m.facebook.com/CanadianClubToronto/

I scanned ahead and didn’t watch the whole thing but around 14 min he says will looks forward to announcing the 2020-2022 plan “in the coming weeks”.

Perhaps nothing will happen until then? But at least they should have our applications ready to approve ! I imagine the allocations have been under negotiation with the provinces/territories, though have now been agreed in private.

The allocations are likely to be announced in a speech to the House of Commons. The House is next sitting on March 9-13, and then 23-27 and 30-31. I can’t find a future timetable that indicates when the Immigration Minister is scheduled to speak (and tbh ... it’s getting quite late I need to go to bed!).

Hope that helps some people!

Another update from me: Evidence was given by staff at the federal government department to the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration on Feb 27, 2020.

This is available at: https://parlvu.parl.gc.ca/Harmony/en/PowerBrowser/PowerBrowserV2/20200227/-1/32802?Language=English&Stream=Video

Just before 09:04, this says that the 3 year immigration levels plan is usually tabled in the Fall by November but the new plan (2020-2022) will be tabled by mid-March (“so can expect that soon”)

Bottom line is that it’ll hopefully be announced by Fri March 13th. Doubt that the parliamentary timetable for that week will be available for a while yet.

So another two weeks of patience ahead.

Good job!

I don't mind to get a nomination on my birthday (Mar31st). I'm pretty cool with that.
But seriously, we just have to patient. Still better to get it late Mar/early Apr than not at all.

found this on saskatchwen site that as on march 3 application threshold will no longer be used for accepting new applications..what does this mean?
