That is good to know that our rep will receive what I need to do in the email which would get passed on to me.

Biometric: I haven't lived anywhere except in Western New York my whole life. I live around Buffalo, NY. According to the CIC biometric page there is a Buffalo ASC office. I read some reviews and it does look like they do biometrics for Canada there. I can call tomorrow morning and find more information out.

Medical: In my state there is 1 doctor actually in my area but is rarely in the office and two other places but in NYC. As long as the doctor is listed on the CIC's Panel Physicians I can drive to Kitchener and have the medical exam done there correct? It doesn't need to be performed in my country or state?
You can have your medical at any panel physician listed on CIC’s website, they don’t need to be in your country let alone state :D

You can call them but if I were you I would probably wait longer lol.

I mean there’s nothing you can do at this stage until you either get AOR (sometimes you do get your AOR later than others, it happens all the time. My Rep said it took some people upto 3-4 months for AOR1) or get returned documents to know the reason why it’s returned.

Waiting makes people anxious but sometimes no news could also be good news;)

Been waiting for mine too. We used a representative, she can’t even give me a date when was the application was received, so that i will know my timeline. Starting to doubt them. But got nothing to do but just wait a lil longer.

Representatives are evil. They just want money and do nothing. I've spoken to quite a few of them. Never met any good one. They didn't know anything, couldn't answer any question, and just were looking for answers on the IRCC website. Sitting right in front of me. A website, seriously? I could do it on my own. Some of them provided me with false or out-of-date information. My best advice would be: never hire a representative. In best, you will get nothing from them. In worst, you will pay for their mistakes.

You’re right! Too bad, it’s was too late for us to realized that. We can actually do it on our own. It took us a while to conpletw our application cause my husband has a new job while we were collecting all our requirements, they advs us to wait for my husband to have a 1month paycheck to her new job before we submit everything, while in fact we can just update info online. It is really frustrating, but got no choice but to trust them for now and wait.

Hi. Do you have a copy of a receipt from a Government of Canada fee? You can use that number to look up information on the ECAS website using the sponsors information.

Tbh not sure it is fair saying this to an occupation as a whole. I talked to more than 5 rep before deciding to hire my current one and turned out he is responsible and always ease our nerves when we had problems. All you have to do is just do some research on paticular rep you are interested. Talk to his/her former clients if you can find them in your community.

My current rep and I spent more than 20 hours together at his office over last few month working on my case, without using any templates of his formal clients for our supplement document, because he believes everyone's case is one of a kind. He wrote over ten pages of the development of our relationship(a.k.a love story). He does not have any assistants or any commercials in the market, and only takes clients referred from his formal clients (the friend who referred us had illegally over stayed in Canada for 10 years, the rep still managed to get him a PR but that's another story).

I have seen other reps or agency trying to rip people off and do nothing, but I believe there are always some good people in any industries.
