what is the process for Upfront Medical? After doing the Medical is there anything else to be done?

I am July AR applicant , after PAL in Dec,2019, nothing in my file, Only 4 months left in the processing time, I called IRCC and asked for medical updated, doctor submitted it on 14th Sep, how long will it take to pass ?
I also asked why so many applicant applied after getting their decision made while I am still waiting for MR and finally did upfront, she told the same story each file is different , not married to a same person, not from the country, bla bla, there are many factors, I can not accept that all 300K file are unique, whatever then I asked why should I do if my processing exceeds, she said you can call us when we will send a message to speed up your application, however Due to F COVID, they don’t do it now, she also said they may change in 4 months.

Just an advice For all who are waiting for medical requests, just go ahead and do upfront medicals. It will give boost to your application for sure.
