I saw a person who recieved Feb,2019/aor April,2019 got dm on July 24,2020
she applied oinp international student stream

I agree with you on "PNP files are much more likely to be approved than EE, since provincial officers have made some preliminary reviews already".
In my case SINP have rejected my PNP application first time due to a misunderstanding so I applied for 2nd review that was done by SINP Program Integrity Unit. It took 2.5 years to approve my nomination. Now waiting for IRCC to approve again after a long background verification. Since 2016 I am waiting for getting PR. Once provincial officer took more than 2 years to complete the process then it is supposed to get completed easily as they have done their job.

she (and her common law partner) got an email from officer in etobicoke for virtual landing. Officer asked they are in canada and date entered canada. her file was in sydney. When I asked her about her processing, she was same as me last month. Security not started. her processing time is 28days left.
This is good news for us. I just want to hear more

It's hard to wait. File is not moving at all specially June, July applicant. Even I have funny feeling for ppr. My PR file deadline is 13th Dec. But this days Process time 19 months. So this year our chance to get ppr very light. I think they will not. Still nobody knows what would be next.
