My ecas is showing Application recieved..I am August aor and no medical yet..what does it mean?

What was the previous status on ECAS? When it changed? Mostly if you recieved ' Application recieved' status after IN PROCESS, then ther application was transferred to other office from the office where you applied (Sydney).

your file is transfered to ottawa if you are inland applicant due to eligibility or any other reason.

Actually my lawyer is handling my case..I just checked the ecas today and I don't know for how long it's there

Don't go for the reasons. It could be anything. Files are mostly transferred due to the workload distribution and easing the process.
