what if process time exceeds beyond 18 months :)?

I myself will be worried for sure... I will overwhelm IRCC with emails and calls... :)

But if not exceeded, relax and chill... Let there be peace in mind...
True. If 18 months is exceeded, IRCC itself have suggested to inform them through WebForm.

Does Singapore visa office working in this situation? My file transferred there, waiting for MR. Thanks.

I dont understand why people r writing in this this page.while this page for janury 19 to April 2019. AR/MR/ppr/DM.please read first before u poast

Because that is what going on right now in between PPR and MR and DM. You can create a new page of your own if you have any problems with others discussing lay offs and COVID-19 on this page.

I don't think you clearly understand the situation in Canada right now because you must be an outland applicant. Most of inland employees who are in process of PR are getting lay offs due to COVID-19 and they are worried about their jobs as well as on-going PR applications. If there are any complications on your on going job, it will affect your PR application. it's all related to one another so why don't you just stop messing around and agree on this page.

Yeah I hope CIC opens back and start working in April rather then delaying until May June due to COVID-19.
we should wait until April 13, that is when the president will say something, but checking how Ontario and Quebec are doing right now with the Covid-19 they will keep working just with the critical staff.
I am affected, because I was laid-off and my application is in DM, so right now i can not work for anyone because of my close permit, and even if I had the COPR, we can not do the landing, so at least it is going to be 1 month for all the inlands.

If you are an outland applicant then your local visa office is handling your file not CIC so need to know whether your local visa office is working or temporarily stopped due to covid. By the way, do you know which is your visa office?
