I am also little bit confused about receiving pre arrival service letter by CIC. My biometric was already done on 18/01/2020 after AOR. Can you share your time line.

What does this mean. The new trend is PAL before MR. Seen it alot. PAL used to be an indicated of approval. What can one deduce since it came before MR and MP. Pls help

We have the same timeline buddy but I didnt receive PAL yet. I got ghost update from IP2 to IP1 last february 1. And still, reviewing medical exam result. Not yet passed.

How you could know it is changed from IP2 to IP1? I couldn't understand that from Gckey or ECAS.

From GCKey status "We are processing your background check(IP2) to "Your application is in progress(IP1) starting February 1.
I read some threads that this is the real start of IP1 and sometime will change again to IP2. I really dont know.

I stayed in Ip1 almost 3 months. and on Feb it turned back Ip2
I figured from notes that info sharing was not done but only on Jan 2020! dont know if it take that long or the file was forgotten

Ok, but I can see both the status "We are processing your background check" and "Your application is in progress" from last 6 months, it didn't changed at all.
