i am in the similar position - though my medicals has been passed but they are still doing the background check, my eligibility and final decision is awaited. But i am scared because my medicals will expire in Jan 2020, not sure how much time would i have to wait. My 6 Months are over now

I got nomination and letter of support from NB province. Applied open work permit which is still under processing ( July 15th application submitted online). But my nomination is going to expire by the end of Oct 2019. Seem the application will get processed mostly Nov month based on Current processing applications date in CIC site. Should i need to get extension to nomination ?

If your file is not transferred to local office and didn't have any issue on background check. I think it's close to get ppr.

Can someone explain what a Pre arrival letter means; also is it common to get this even though I am in Canada
