hey guys , a question, what should i bring with me on my test and oath day as they are on same day , i know passport and a photo id , but what else , if someone please help me
thanks

Have you read your test/interview invitation letter? States there that you should bring all the original documents on your application checklist (PR card, passport, IDs, confirmation of PR and all other supporting documents you submitted together with your application.)
Cheers!

hey All,

i got test and interview on June 4th and passed it till now Ecas showing IP. i m from Winnipeg.

is it possible to do Urgent process request at last stage as i need to travel back home in november and i need to apply for my back home visa so . i m traveling for uncertain time .

please advise

I don't think that traveling to your home country will be a valid reason for your application to be considered urgently processed. You can go on with your travel plans and if ever you receive your invitation to take the oath of citizenship but won't be able to attend, you can always inform your local IRCC office for a reschedule of your oath taking. Another option is if you are patient enough to call the IRCC hotline, you can let a customer representative know of your travel plans and put a note on your file that you won't be available during your travel dates.
Cheers!

They take your PR card as part of the ceremony registration as you'll no longer be a permanent resident....and they advise that you get your passport ASAP as that is proof of your citizenship when returning to the Canada.

Congratulations on your citizenship ceremony. Yes they advise you to apply for a passport as an option of your citizenship. However, they also reminded everyone to wait at least two (2) days after the ceremony when applying for passport to give enough time for the system to update your citizenship certificate number.
Cheers!

Hi everybody,

My citizenship application delivered on June 5, 2019. I haven't got an email yet. How should I follow up my application?

Correct....yeah, I didn't specify two days but I was trying to stress that they tell you to get your passport since it's the travel document that will provide evidence of your citizenship.

What is your case and what kind of help are you looking for? For the processing time, you are still well within the 12-month average processing time the IRCC has set.
Cheers!
