Admins: thank you very much for updating the spreadsheets. I really appreciate it.

During the interview, the immigration agent mentioned I may get an oath invite letter sometime in August or September and a possible oath ceremony sometime in November or December. I’m in the final stretch now .
Congratulations! I just updated the sheet.

From what I have read, so take with a grain of salt, they guarantee seating for one person but others are subject to available space :) So another person may have to stand or wait elsewhere?

Interestingly reading the book (again) it says to invite friends and family. So... that’s at least 2 people right?

But then the book also says it may take several months to process your application. And then there are the electoral districts etc ... :)

Hello Admin,
Please update the January 2019 spread sheet as it helped me a lot to understand the process. Good Job who ever got this Idea !
App received/delivered Jan 22
Acknowledgment of Received March 21 (AOR)
Procession Started March 29 (In Process ecas)
Family - 3
Location: Burnaby, BC.

Is there anyone who applied from Burnaby, Vancouver or Surrey? Is it true that BC takes lot of time? Hope I can get some info @ Burnaby applicants.

thanks
Cheers ! Good Long weekend ahead !

Hello,
I am from Vancouver BC and my son and I applied for our citizenship in Nov 2018. We got our confirmation of receipt and they started processing our application on Jan 29, 2019. On July 16th we got and email with our test date which was held on Aug 1st. So all in all it took about 8 months from the time we submitted the forms and about 6 months once the application started. Now we are waiting for the oath date - will keep you posted on that one. I guess if all your paperwork is in order, then it should not be a very long wait. Good luck with your application.

Hello,

Hi,
Don't worry my friend. As you know each case has its own conditions and they have to check different things for a case so one case will be processed earlier and one later. When you already have your AOR, it means they are working on your application and you will hear good news very soon. ;)
