Just called CIC to check on the status of the application since it is in IP since late April but was informed that the regular process time is 12 months so no point to call now. I'm just surprised how certain offices are fast while other are too slow. This is so clear on the spreadsheet...it is not case by case basis as much as it is office to office. K=Kitchener seems to be one of the slowest nation-wide :) Anyone else applied through Kitchener? Your timeline so far please?

Thanks for sharing your experience. I also had the same question as well. I called CIC yesterday because my application is in IP since late April too and the CIC agent informed that everything is ready, it is just a matter of time for them to send the test invitation. She also informed that my office is in Kitchener. I found another forum and it really seems that the Kitchener office is quite slow. Anyways, I hope we get out letter invite soon.

I’ve seen Kitchener, Vancouver and Brampton all called out for being slowest just in the past week.

Mine is in Scarborough and has been IP since early April unless you consider FP. I’m not going to get worried for a while. Only 27% of Jan applicants have gotten test invite. Including people who have been IP since March and not had FP across multiple offices.

My AOR is April 1, 2019, And "In Process" on April 9, 2019. Mine says that they sent me correspondence on April 15, 2019 that requires me to provide information or documentation and to reply as soon as possible. I have not received anything from them since the email with my AOR. Has anyone else had this happen? I assume the April 15 correspondence would be an email but how do I get in contact with them that I haven't received their correspondence since it's been 2 months?

Possible the email went into spam? Or just Canada Post failed to deliver. Just give them a call and see what’s happening. Be prepared to call multiple times and wait on hold for a while when you finally get through and they’re actually accepting calls.

Number and options I posted previously in this thread, but it’s the general number form CIC from a google. Options are maybe. 1/1/4?

Thanks for sharing this information. The agent you talked to was much more helpful. Hopefully, things move forward soon :)

LOL.Yes that's what I noticed as well, everyone complaining that their local IRCC office is the slowest of the slow. Geez people need to disconnect from the web for a while and try to relax. It clearly states in the IRCC website that the average processing time for a complete application takes around 12 months. And here you can see people complaining that their application has been IP since March. Well, it's only been 4 months since and they're well within the 12-month period. People need to lessen the frequency in checking their applications.

Instead grab a bowl of popcorn and open a can of beer watch the ball game tonight and cheer for our only NBA team! ⛹️ #wethenorth
