I started this forum in January 2019 with the plan to submit my application in Jan itself.

Seems, life had different plans for me. I mailed my application to Nova Scotia yesterday April 6th 2019.

I couldn't find a forum for April 2019 applications.

Can someone please add me to the 2019 April Excel.

In process since April 4, please update spreadsheet.
Thank you.

Submitted my application in Jan 31 which got delivered on Feb 04. Received AOR on April 4th. I would like to know what AOR means? Actually, I have only 1 concern about the US police certificate I submitted was old more than 6 months though I just visited US for few days in 2018.

I hope in case they need any additional documents, they will ask. Please provide some feedback.

Thanks

Hi Guys,
Can we get finger prints done in advance and submit it upon request? or just wait for the request?
How long does it usually take to get finger print taken and submission?

Thanks

Not everyone needs fingerprints done.

Many do, I now know one person who didn’t and her name is extremely common (and actually gives her issues travelling to the US) yet no FP request.

So personally, I’d wait. I believe there are places that are free (RCMP offices?) but if you don’t live local to such a place you may have to pay a nominal fee.

AOR is Acknowledgment Of Receipt. Basically means ECAS will/soon say application received and someone has taken a quick look and not got any major issues with it.

If the cert was for 183 days over 4 years/in a block depending upon version of form used (requirement changed Jan 2019) that should be fine.

Next status should be “In Progress”. Which takes 2-3 weeks normally. For some anyway :(
