I don't think you can update or even communicate to IRCC through ECAS. I think it's a read-only system.
We need to use web form (https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx) to inform them about any changes.

In other news, I ordered my Discover Canada (I like paper) last week, phoned the company today and they confirmed it takes 7-10 working days to post it. So if you applied with an email address listed and want a paper copy, order sooner rather than later just in case the test invite takes "weeks" as the website says.
Though I guess technically 6 months is still "(24-26) weeks".
Yes I requested address change under ECAS https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do. It says it takes up to 15 days so I called my lawyers from my PR and they confirmed no post yet but they'd let me know if there was any. I had to complete the entire form (home address as well) despite only wanting to change mailing address to match home address.

The website is truly terrible, but you can order a copy for free and I rang them using the number provided by this page: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals.html#ordering
You don't seem able to track the order online; but I did get an email when I ordered it last week so am hoping they'll post it soon.

I sent a letter questioning my application status on Nov 2018, and they replied by letter on Jan 2019 stating that they returned the application.
